It was the summer of 69 when Frankie was built… and 51 years on she is still going strong! Frankie is a rare van, you do not often see many Franklins around, especially in Queensland. The iconic oversized windows are sensational! Frankie’s renovation is now complete….. surprisingly a lot more work was required than we had anticipated, however, i’m sure you’ll agree, she was worth the wait. With Frankie, we wanted to retain her original 60’s character so she still has her 60’s quirks about her, just mixed this with a retro yet coastal vibe. The beautiful patina on the wooden window frames, which can only be achieved by age, is stunning and adds so much soul to the van. We are sad to see her go, hopefully her new owners will love her as much as we do!
