Frankie Rose is a 1966 Franklin. Franklin’s of this age are super rare and hard to find.
When we acquired her, she had extreme water damage which resulted in having to strip her out right back to the frame. The wooden frame had suffered immense wood rot, so we had to rebuild the frame and strengthen. The subfloor also had to be removed and rebuilt. All the windows needed to be removed, new perspex moulds made for the corner windows, new wiring through out with the aim at making he a complete off grid van.
We pretty much rebuilt her from the ground up. Our aim with this renovation was to create a retro beach vibe, think of the relaxed island lifestyle in the Bahamas, beautiful rattan cabinetry blended with vibrant colours and warm holiday vibes. We’ve even installed an outdoor shower to wash off after a day at the beach.
If you would us to source and/or renovate you as van similar, please send us an enquiry.
